Science + Life
Following on the heels of the Sacred +.Mundane project—and using the same slow film / medium format approach—the Science + Life series moves from the reflective quiet of empty places of worship to the similarly calming confines of science labs after-hours. The images locate the human in what is often thought of as the clinical rationality of scinece—scientists and researchers inevitably express their humanity through their spaces and the habits those spaces reveal, bringing science and humanity together.

I’m an esthetically omnivorous, intellectually curious designer, photographer, creative director, and educator with over 25 years of agency experience, a deep focus in education, arts and culture, and financial services, and an affinity for typographic and photographic adventure.
