SCOPE
Concept // Design // Creative Direction // Print
Wesleyan's viewbook builds on extraordinary photography by Tom Kates to tell the story of a place committed to realzing and supporting students' journeys of discovery across often novel terrain. You + Wesleyan = Yes + And.
realizing the concept
With a defined concept in-hand and the elements of a university-wide visual system in place, we set about exploring how to envision the idea of novel connections and academic experimentation.
Typographic approaches, image manipulation and combination, background textures, graphic elements, and grid manipulation and subversion all play a part in the process of exploration.
On the road and in the mail
In support of the admission team's busy travel schedule, we created an easy to cary yet persuesive mini-viewbook. Targeted sophmore- and junior-year mailers provide added touchpoints in the communications cycle.
